And Now For Something…

…Completely Different!
The last few posts have been about World of Warcraft. Yippee! I really am glad to be back in Azeroth. And Outland. And Northrend. I digress!
Today we will shed some light on another major spotlight of my current gaming life: The Chrono Trigger Fan Fest Community Playthrough! *gasps* Wow, that was a mouthful.

So what’s all of this about, you say? Epic RPG action, says I!
You see, the way this works is every day there is a new GPP (Game Play Point) described on the CTFF website. The idea is that everyone in the community who is “playing along” (see what I did there?) will play that section of the game, and save/stop where it tells you to. That way everyone is playing at the same pace and everyone will finish the game together!
For me, this has been a really great excuse to break out Chrono Trigger after a few years of neglect. I bought the DS release last year, but was yet to beat it. At this rate, I’ll have a New Game + save file by the end of next week!
So, I really wanted to throw a shout-out and a great big THANK YOU! to the awesome people over at Fangamer.com for hosting the CTFF.
If you’re interested in following along for the end, or just seeing some of the cool fan art, etc that is taking place, please click the image above to go to the CTFF website. You can also check it out on Twitter via #ctff.
Oh, and in case there are any CT aficionados out there - today’s GPP is to complete Mother Brain and the Sun Stone. Huzzah for time-travel!
