An Epic Weekend
by DrkAdonis on Jul.26, 2010, under Uncategorized
Woooow. So I’ve been planning this post all day, and I’ve been SLAMMED at work. Let’s see if we can’t squeeze it in before the bell tolls, eh?
We’re going to break it down by character, just for fun!
Oh, and this post is super picture-heavy… so if you are on 56k: YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!
Hit the jump if your ISP can handle my awesomeness!
Jaarka
Jaarka did some mad Heroics this weekend. The amazing crew at <Crits and Giggles> put together a few randoms (sometimes with a LFD PuG thrown in, but never anything troublesome) and he got a LOT of achievements. A lot. Like… 10. That I screen-shotted…. so maybe even more. Look!
Obviously, click to make it bigger - lots of goodness!
Right… so that was… awesome.
Oh, and who can go running around with Rep and Hart without having a Dance Party?
Right! And since I’m in the mood for picture spam (you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!), here is one of the raid group from the awesome ToC10 we ran in MY honor! Yay! Thanks, Rep! I had never been before, so she was nice enough to schedule one just to try and get me geared up a bit more! Didn’t really get much out of it… but apparently our tanks are rollin’ in the epics. Anyway, I DID get a few pieces (which I will search for and try to link later) but they consisted of a Leather Chest and a cool one-handed sword. Good stuff.
Right. The picture. Thought I forgot, eh? FOOLED YOU!
Epic Raiders. Yup.
So it was a great weekend for Jaarka. Lots of stuff accomplished. Lots of phat lewtz. Oh, and he even got a Jeweled Fishing Rod from the Dalaran daily. How do you like dem apples?
Astarian
Astarian is my newest, blue-ist alt. He’s a Space Goat Paladin, who’s going to be rocking the Retadin world with his giant… mace. Anyway, he made it to level 6 in one evening and was promptly challenged to a duel. What self-respecting lightbringer wouldn’t accept?
I don’t think even another Paladin was ready for this jelly. My body’s too Duel-icious for ya, babe!
Cuddlebunny
Ah, here we go. The beast herself.
Well, progress is moving steadily along. Traveling around with her faithful pocket-healer in tow (Hi, Tessa!), she’s been carving up the ankles of many Dwarf-land creatures! She’s hit level 18 and is excited to get a mount in the near future. Level 20 mounts are so awesome.
With her faithful bodyguard at her side (like she NEEDS one!), our valiant hero explores the dwarf-lands!
While running around, she managed to pull out a couple of achievements too, so as not to look bad in the shadow of Jaarka’s achievement-fest.
It’s not the size that counts, it’s how you earn them!
While tearing up Azeroth for lewtz and expees, she found it in her heart (the size of 10 Gnomes’ +2) to give Tessa a tour of the Deeprun Tram.
Apparently Tessa doesn’t like damp, rat-infested tram stations. Elves are so weird!
Well, that pretty much wraps up this huge epic weekend catch-up post. Oh! One more thing! Here is an update of my UI, now arranged in a pretty awesome fashion! I’ll see about posting a picture highlighting what all I use sometime later.
Dance par-tay with Tessa! Ouch! Why’d you slap me?!?!
Okay, okay. Enough with the picture spam!
Thanks for tuning in, folks! You can catch up with us next time: same bat time, same bat channel!

Ahahhaa I don’t remember WHY I slapped you! I checked the log on the screenshot and don’t see anything that would’ve provoked it… not like you can type /slap by accident…
>.>
<.<
Also: why WAS I making that face in the tram station? It was kinda creepy… but I think it was because I didn’t get to use my lute on the rat gathering before you scurried around and wrangled them back to the little gnome friend of yours…
Anyway, fun stuff, Snugglebunny…wait…that doesn’t sound right *evil grin*
