Last night was more of the same when it came to the Fire Festival. We forgot to do our Ahune run, but that’s not a big deal. We’ll have a few more chances to get that pet before I go on vacation. Heck, I may even get WoW installed on the laptop so I can sneak on and hit him a few times while I’m away. /ponders

After getting Ditzul the Midsummer Meta-Achievement, Junahu and I decided it would be good fun to blast our way through all three wings of Dire Maul. It took us a few hours, being as I am still only 55 (hit 56 last night!), so I’m technically just on the cusp of being viable for the instance. Inevitably, though, we kicked some ass and took some names - and became the new King and Queen of Dire Maul! /flex

My screenshot fail continues today. I thought I hit the button when the achievement popped up on the screen, but no such luck. Ah-well. At least I have Roz to cover my butt, as she got an amazing picture of our (Pirate) Hunters in action, side-by-side. Thanks, hun!

As mentioned already, I tend to stick pretty firmly to Roz’s behind on a nightly basis. Pretty much anywhere she goes, I follow, because that is definitely where the “lulz” shall be had. So, what does a squishy Hunter do when he’s told to go roll a Draenei Death Knight on another server? He rolls a Draenei Death Knight on another server!

Apparently, the folks over at <Crits and Giggles> are as fun as we are. Or they’re tolerant, at least. <3 the ladies that I got to meet last night. They even gave all of us nub DKs a summon to Dalaran! w00t!

Allow me to introduce you to the awe-inspiring death-defying totally-awesome hyphenated-word-master space-goat … Aeshomu!

In other new… the Fire Festival is still going strong. Finally got Jaarka to level 55, which means he could enter the Slave Pens. After barely scraping together a ragtag group, we went in to fight Ahune… and by that, I mean I /dance’d while they battled him. Regardless, when all was said and done…

Woo! Jaarka’s very first Title! “Flame Keeper Jaarka,” kinda has a nice ring to it, eh? Though, seems kinda perfect for a certain fire mage of mine…

So there I was, minding my own business killing Blood Elfs in the Hinterlands when it happened: SERVER CRASH.

Ugh! And this was *after* my battlegroup of realms was the only one to receive maintenance today. Hey, Blizz.. care to buy a friggin’ clue?

Anyway, ranting aside, it gives me a chance to update again. I’ve decided that I don’t like my theme as much as I originally did. Maybe it’ll grow on me a bit more in the next few days. If not, the site may be changing around a bit.

Back on the WoW side of things, I’ve been quite enjoying the Midsummer Fire Festival event that started this week. Running around honoring/desecrating flames and grabbing flight points Jaarka didn’t have yet has been a blast! I’m sure I’ll make a special post pointing out the adventures Roz and I had doing it together, but for now I’ll just share this little gem from my adventures to Azuremyst…

I finally went back to World of Warcraft. There, I said it.

Now that it’s out there, let’s move on and talk about what fun I’ve been having!

I started the game back up and rolled a new character (Jaarka, Orc Hunter) on a new server (Dawnbringer), with the sole goal being to join <Ashes of Tirisfal>. I have been a long-time reader of For The Horde, and was very interested in the recruiting drive they had been putting on. A desire to get to know these crazy people, as well as wanting to get something out of my investment in Wrath of the Lich King a few months ago, is what finally got me back into Azeroth.

Since joining, I have nothing to report but amazing people and good times. The folks are just as crazy as I had hoped, and I fear that I may be fitting in a little too well (if you know what I mean). However, out of everyone, it seems that I’ve been drawn to a particular player a bit moreso than the others: everyone’s favorite Troll-lover, Rozjin.

With my goal of levelling as quickly as possible to hit the Northrend content doesn’t leave me a lot of time to look for groups for instances, etc; I have been very lucky that Roz has been willing to help me out… or help me cause mischief! I’ll be putting together several posts to illustrate our crazy outings, this simply being the first.

Starting where it began, allow me to share with you the start of a wonderful ever-growing relationship…

Multiple Naked Rozjins!

Yeah. That’s right. Multiple naked trolls in my RFC. That really is a true foundation for our crazy adventures that have brewed since that night. Hopefully I’ll be able to muse more about them after this initial post… I feel like this should be more of an into, left at that.
